On Saturday, May 10th, 2008, a Paschal Liturgy for children will be celebrated at 9:30 AM.

Lazarus Saturday / Pascha Preparation Festivities for children
On April 19, 2008, after the Lasarus Saturday Liturgy, we had our
annual Pascha Preparation day for children, which included
- A Variety of American Egg Decorating/Dying Activities
- Pysanky Egg Decorating (facilitated by our own Andrea Lutov)
- Memorial Stone Decorating
- Cookie Decorating (a fundraiser for the  children’s program)
- Helping prepare and assemble gift bags for our shut-in
  and other needy members

Sunday School Family Camping Trip:
The Sunday School sponsored a Family Camping Trip at Lake Sherando
Recreation Area in the George Washington National Forest in Virginia,
Friday June 29 through 1 July 2007. A Divine Liturgy was celebrated on
Saturday morning.

February 11, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.
The play "Buratino," a Russian version of Pinocchio
was presented by the "Scarlet Sails" Russian School
after the Slavonic Liturgy on February 11, 2007.
The play featured students from our Sunday School.
This presentation is a continuation of collaboration
between the "Scarlet Sails" School and our Sunday School
("Scarlet Sails" School provided Russian Folk Dancers
at the recent Yolka and loaned sound equipment for
outdoor music at our Annual Bazaar Rus in the Fall.)

A Christmas celebration for children was organized on January 13th 2007.

The celebration started with a Liturgy with the participation of the children’s choir,
and a presentation about the Nativity of our Lord and New Year.

After the Children’s Liturgy we had a party and Christmas / New Year performance with
participation of Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost) and Snow Maiden, and Christmas
presents. Before the performance we also had a meeting with the
renowned illustrator of children's books, Gennady Spirin.

A Trolley Tour of Washington DC for Sunday School children and families was organized on 2 December 2006, at 2:00 PM.

A Celebration of our Patron
Saint's Feast and a Nativity Preparation Day were held on Saturday 9 December 2006.

On Saturday October 28 at 9:30 a.m.: Holy Liturgy for children with participation of the choir of the family of Fr. Nikolay Stremsky from Saraktash, Russia. Fr. Nikolay and Matushka Galina adopted 60 children. Following the litirgy, the children of the Stremsky family gave a concert. Additional information on the family of Fr.
