Maslenitsa at the Russian Embassy

This year's Maslenitsa is once again being celebrated at the Russian Embassy under the gracious patronage of the Russian Ambassador, His Excellency, Sergey Kislyak on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 7:00 pm.  This event is more than a jubilant celebration prior to the fasting of Great Lent.  In these tough economic times, which touch all of us, the proceeds will be used by the cathedrals of St. John the Baptist and St. Nicholas to help those in need both in our community and in Russia.  Please remember, even if you cannot attend, you can still help by making a monetary contribution.  Any such contribution is fully tax deductible.

HELP US HELP THOSE IN NEED.

Seating is limited at the event.  The cost of tickets is $145 per person or $275 per couple. A table for 10 can be reserved for a discounted price of $1230 provided all checks are received at time of reservation. Checks must be received before a reservation is considered firm.  Tickets are not available at the door.  Invitations will be mailed around January 15, 2010. The RSVP date is February 5th.
